our favorite homemade Spring sweets for kids

April 26, 2013

As the temps warm up (FINALLY!), it's time to start thinking about those favorite treats, the ones that take you back to your own childhood and make you remember the good ol' days. Give your kiddos those same nostalgic memories for the amazing creations you make together in the kitchen. Spring is the perfect time to start some new traditions, as Spring and Summer fruits come into seasons and Spring activities kick off. What kid wouldn't want a homemade granola bar to take to t-ball? And even better that he made it himself! With your help, of course. here are six fab recipes that are sure to get your kids excited about spending some time in the kitchen and with you this season:

1 - Jenna's Journey's chocolate peanut butter pretzel granola bars. A mouthful to say AND to eat!

2 - Domestic Fits' strawberry cheesecake popsicles. Perfect for kiddos and adults.

3 - Je Suis Alimentageuse's goji date energy balls. Raw, gluten free and SUPER healthy, yet your kids will never know it.

4 - My Baking Addiction's honey peanut butter cookies. A sweet spin on a classic.

5 - Domestic Fits' peanut butter and jelly bars. Like the sandwich, only way better.

6 - Mallow & Co.'s toasted marshmallow rice krispie treats. Like s'mores!
