Lots of well-dressed ladies turned out for The Mommie Series - Spring Edition last night. It was a fun, informative night - we really did learn a lot! - and we were introduced to some fabulous mamas. Green Plate Kitchen was on hand to provide the bites, and we even got to experience sweets from local chocolatier Cacao and Cardamom for the first time... YUM. Last night's non-profit sponsors was Children at Risk, an incredible organization that focuses on helping disadvantaged children at the macro level, influencing policy through research and education. We heard from a wide variety of speakers, including lawyer Tais Amaral Tellawi on how to create your will and April Ree on how to heal your body with essential oils (by the way, totally buying some lavender oil today!). And the lovely Sabrina Miskelly, producer of ABC 13 and LiveWell Network's Mirror/Mirror, served as the evening's emcee. Best of all, we got to interact with some of our favorite customers and meet new ones. We've loved sponsoring The Mommie Series, and we're already looking forward to the Summer edition.
